I printed out a slightly edited version of one of the photos taken from when my sisters and I played with makeup for a Tribal Bellydance “look”, and made a collage of it today, did some watercoloring on it as well.

Yet another, possibly the last…

So basically she doesn’t appear very cheery or sunny or nice, but I assure you that she is. You must get to know her first and take care not to make fun of her bangs or uneven purple pupils. Compliments on her dress help, though compliments on her intelligence are better.

She’s smelling a daisy.

So hey, I’m gonna be posting some art stuffs on here in a minute…

Like a few in relatively quick succession (and if you don’t like it, go file a complaint with Miss jexico-a-go-go since she’s the one who wants to see).

Birthday Card for my Grandmarta. The top right is the front, the top left the back, and the bottom is the inside. Watercolor paint and watercolor pencils, a little collage and marker.

And here is another flower!
(My hand looks weird, very square-ish. Do all hands look odd at that angle?)

And here is a flower I drew on myself.

So I’m still working on this (like making it not look like he’s a baby burrito wrapped up in some whole-wheat brown tortilla, and figuring out what her body looks like behind the baby, fixing proportions and all, yaddah yaddah yaddah- see? I can’t post without criticizing or else y’all will think I think I’m GOOD or something!) but right now it’s the Forest Queen cradling Baby William. I don’t often draw babies so his face is fairly simple and I left it at that but then he looked so freakin BALD (nothing against bald babies, but I wanted my little William to not be one of them) so I shaded little fuzz/scribbles there.
Because I was thinking about how overprotective and smothering she was to him and then I was thinking what it must have been like for her to discover some poor child sent down the river, possibly dead. She might’ve been horrified, very sympathetic as she reached in to pull him out. And as she held him close, bringing him back to life and blessing him with two forms, she realized that she finally had a child of her own to raise (for some reason I imagine that she can’t have children on her own. Her children are the trees, the flowers and creatures of the forest but she has no blood children.) and she felt so happy and tenderly affectionate, a child of her own to love and raise and have with her forever.

Same girl… This one isn’t terribly realistic, the exaggerated features lend a cartoon-like quality to it but hey, I tried. And I’m really enjoying doing shading right now, I’m actually learning how to do it xD
Oh, and in case anyone cares, I’m drawing Courtney Love. This one is from an online picture, the other was a still from the “Doll Parts” video. Yeppity yep :)
